عفرين.. مجموعة لصوص تعتدي على شاب كوردي بالضرب المبرح
أفاد مصدر محلي أن مجموعة لصوص اعتدوا على شاب كوردي في قرية بمنطقة عفرين في محاولة لسرقة الماتور " ثلاث عجلات" الذي يمكله الشاب الكوردي.
قال مصدر خاص من مدينة عفرين لموقع آرك نيوز مجموعة لصوص اعتدوا بالضرب المبرح، مساء يوم السبت 5 نيسان 2025، على الشاب الكوردي محمد كوردي من قرية "كفردلي فوقاني" بمنطقة عفرين أثناء عودته من العمل، وذلك بهدف سرقة الماتور "ثلاث عجلات" الذي يملكه الشاب الكوردي وهو مصدر رزقه.
وأضاف المصدر، تم نقل الشاب الكوردي إلى المشفى لتلقي العلاج، ووضعه الصحي مستقر حاليا.

حكومة إقليم كوردستان تكسب نزاعا قانونيا دوليا
كسبت حكومة إقليم كوردستان نزاعاً قانونياً مهماً في قضية التحكيم الدولي ضد شركة جينيل إنيرجي ميران بينا باوي ليمتد (GEMBBL)، حيث قضت محكمة التحكيم في لندن بمنح الحكومة تعويضاً كبيراً لتغطية تكاليفها القانونية.
جاء القرار في 4 نيسان 2025، حيث ألزمت المحكمة الشركة بدفع مبلغ (26,868,905.29) دولار أمريكي لحكومة إقليم كوردستان، بالإضافة إلى الفوائد المترتبة بعد صدور القرار.
كما ويُعد هذا الحكم استكمالاً لقرار سابق أصدرته المحكمة في كانون الثاني 2024، والذي أكد أن حكومة الإقليم ألغت بشكل قانوني عقود تقاسم الإنتاج (PSC) لحقلي بينا باوي وميران، ورفضت فيه جميع المطالبات التي تقدمت بها الشركة ضد الحكومة.
وكانت حكومة إقليم كوردستان قد ألغت تلك العقود في عام 2021، بعد أن فشلت الشركة في الوفاء بالتزاماتها بموجب شروط الاتفاق، مما أدى إلى اتخاذ خطوات قانونية لضمان حقوق الإقليم.

أكثر من 100 موقع للأسلحة الكيميائية في سوريا
أفاد مفتشون من "منظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية" أنهم يشتبهون في استمرار وجود أكثر من 100 موقع للأسلحة الكيميائية في سوريا، بعد سقوط الرئيس السابق بشار الأسد.
بحسب صحيفة "نيويورك تايمز"، أن وجود أكثر من 100 موقع للأسلحة الكيميائية في سوريا هو أول تقدير من نوعه، إذ تسعى "منظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية" إلى دخول سوريا لتقييم ما تبقى من برنامج الأسد العسكري سيئ السمعة.
وقالت "منظمة حظر الأسلحة الكيميائية" إنها توصلت إلى هذا العدد بناءً على معلومات تلقتها من باحثين خارجيين ومنظمات غير ربحية ومعلومات استخباراتية مشتركة بين الدول الأعضاء بالمنظمة.
وفق المصدر يُشتبه في أن هذه المواقع كانت تُستخدم في أبحاث وتصنيع وتخزين الأسلحة الكيميائية. فقد استخدم الرئيس السابق أسلحةً مثل غاز السارين والكلور ضد مقاتلي المعارضة والمدنيين السوريين، خلال أكثر من عقد من الحرب الأهلية.
ومن المرجح أن تكون بعض المواقع مخفية في كهوف، أو أماكن أخرى، يصعب العثور عليها باستخدام صور الأقمار الاصطناعية، وفقاً لباحثين وموظفين سابقين في المنظمة وخبراء آخرين. وهذا يزيد من احتمالية عدم تأمين بعض الأسلحة.

PYD Administration Cuts Diesel Allocations for Drivers on Amuda–Qamishli Route
ARK News.. The Amouda–Qamishli transportation line witnessed an open strike by minibus drivers in protest against the reduction of their daily diesel allocations.
According to exclusive sources in Qamishlo, reported by ARK News, the PYD administration has reduced the daily diesel allotment for drivers on the Amouda–Qamishlo route from 10 liters to 7 liters.
As a result, minibus drivers launched a strike on Saturday, April 5, 2025, bringing transportation between the two cities to a standstill.
Drivers stated that the new reduction further exacerbates their hardships amid rising maintenance costs and the soaring prices of spare parts, rendering the continuation of their work economically unsustainable.
Additionally, PYD-affiliated committees in Amuda reportedly imposed financial penalties on several drivers for raising the passenger fare to 10,000 Syrian pounds.

The National: PKK Threatens and Extorts Kurds, Exploits Natural Disasters, and Profits from Drug Trade to Raise Funds
ARK News.. The National has revealed that the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) operates an extensive financial network across Europe, raising funds through illegal means including extortion, threats, the exploitation of natural disasters, as well as involvement in drug trafficking and organized crime.
Citing experts, legal evidence, and intelligence reports, The National detailed several cases illustrating the group's activities. In one instance, a Kurdish individual in Stockholm threatened a business owner at gunpoint to force payment to the PKK. In another case, a man in France was reportedly told his legs would be broken if he refused to pay. In Paris, 11 individuals were convicted of extortion and illegal fundraising in support of the PKK and its terrorist activities.
The report added that in Sweden, a Kurdish man threatened a restaurant owner in Stockholm with a firearm, demanding money on behalf of PKK militants. Investigations later revealed that a senior PKK figure had made a special visit to Stockholm to personally collect extorted funds from the same merchant.
In Germany, authorities have acknowledged that annual fundraising for the PKK amounts to as much as €17 million.
The National further reported that European intelligence agencies are increasingly concerned about the PKK’s involvement in narcotics trafficking. Europol has identified drug trade as the group’s primary source of financing.
Dutch sociologist Joost Jongerden, who has spent years studying PKK operations, stated that the organization imposes levies on many Kurds in Europe and has exploited disasters—such as the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria—to raise millions of euros.
He emphasized that fundraising remains a central pillar of the PKK’s strategy to expand its presence and network across Europe.

Faisal Yousif Outlines ENKS Position on Upcoming Kurdish National Conference
ARK News.. The official spokesperson of the Kurdish National Council (KNC) in Syria has revealed the Council’s position regarding the upcoming Kurdish National Conference expected to be held in Syrian Kurdistan.
In an exclusive statement to ARK News, Faisal Yousif emphasized that the Council attaches the utmost importance to Kurdish unity and supports all efforts aimed at fostering understanding and coordination among Kurdish political forces in service of the Kurdish cause in Syria.
Yousif noted that KNC has actively participated in discussions and dialogues with other Kurdish parties to develop a joint Kurdish political vision concerning Syria and the resolution of the Kurdish issue.
He explained that an agreement was reached to draft a unified Kurdish political vision for Syria that can serve as a foundation for dialogue with all Syrian components, with the aim of securing the legitimate national rights of the Kurdish people within a democratic, decentralized, and pluralistic Syrian state.
Faisal Yousif further stressed the need for this vision to be ratified and publicly announced through a conference at the earliest possible opportunity.
He added that the Kurdish National Council remains open to engagement with all Kurdish parties and forces in Syria to build fraternal relations based on mutual respect, leading to sustainable joint action that serves the aspirations of the Kurdish people and the future of a democratic Syria.

Masrour Barzani: The International Community Must Continue to Protect the People of Kurdistan and Defend Their Rights
ARK News.. Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has called on the international community to continue safeguarding the people of Kurdistan and upholding their rights.
In a post on the social media platform X, Prime Minister Barzani expressed the Kurdistan Region’s deep gratitude for the international community's support, particularly the role it played in halting the attacks and repression carried out by the former Ba’ath regime through the adoption of United Nations Security Council Resolution 688.
"On the anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 688, which brought an end to the Ba’ath regime’s attacks and oppression, we reaffirm our deep respect and appreciation for the international community's support," Barzani stated.
He added, "The international community must continue to protect the people of Kurdistan and defend their rights."

الفاو تحذر من أزمة الأمن الغذائي في سوريا
حذرت منظمة الأغذية والزراعة العالمية "الفاو"، من استمرار أزمة الأمن الغذائي في سوريا، وأن التحدیات المتعلقة بالأمن الغذائي ستتفاقم أكثر.
قالت منظمة الأغذية والزراعة العالمية "الفاو" في تقرير لها، إن إنتاج الحبوب في العام 2025 انخفض بنحو 13٪ عن العام الماضي، وإن التحديات المتعلقة بالأمن الغذائي في سوريا ستتفاقم اكثر بسبب هشاشة الأوضاع الاقتصادية واستمرار النزاع، وتغيّر المناخ، رغم انخفاض طفيف في أسعار المواد الغذائية.
وأشارت المنظمة إلى أن هذه الأمور تتطلب تدخل واستجابة فورية من المؤسسات الإنسانية والجهات الفاعلة في المجتمع الدولي.
