اجتمع نيجيرفان بارزاني، رئيس إقليم كوردستان، مساء اليوم الاثنين، 7 نيسان 2025 في أبو ظبي، مع صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، رئيس دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
وأكد الجانبان خلال اجتماعهما على تعزيز علاقات الإمارات العربية المتحدة مع العراق وإقليم كوردستان، وتوسيع التعاون المشترك، وخاصة في المجالات الضرورية للجانبين.
وفي هذا السياق، بحث الجانبان فرص الاستثمار وتشغيل رؤوس الأموال الإماراتية وقطاعها الخاص في إقليم كوردستان والعراق، وتبادلا الآراء بشأن المجالات والقطاعات التي يمكن أن تستثمر فيها الإمارات في العراق وإقليم كوردستان.
وفي محور آخر من الاجتماع، ناقش الرئيسان بإسهاب آخر الأحداث والتطورات في المنطقة ومخاطرها وتداعياتها على الوضع في الشرق الأوسط ودول المنطقة.
وشدد الجانبان على أهمية حماية الأمان والاستقرار وضبط النفس والحكمة في التعامل مع الوضع، بما يمنع المزيد من التعقيد والمشاكل في المنطقة، وأن تعمل الأطراف جميعاً من أجل السلام والاستقرار.
وشغلت الأوضاع في سوريا، ومجموعة مسائل تحظى بالاهتمام المشترك، محوراً آخر للاجتماع.

U.S. Downgrades Legal Status of Syrian Mission at the United Nations
ARK News.. A Lebanese newspaper has reported that the United States has officially downgraded the legal status of the Syrian mission to the United Nations in New York. The move changes the designation from a Permanent Mission of a Member State to the UN to that of a Mission of a Government Not Recognized by the United States.
According to An-Nahar, the notification was delivered to the Syrian delegation through the United Nations. In addition to the reclassification, Washington also revoked G1 visas — typically issued to diplomats representing recognized governments — and replaced them with G3 visas, which are granted to foreign nationals accredited to the UN but whose governments are not recognized by the U.S.
The newspaper claims to have obtained the text of a diplomatic cable sent by the Syrian mission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Damascus, informing them of the U.S. decision. The cable reportedly stated:
“The Permanent Mission of the United States of America to the United Nations informed us late on the evening of Thursday, April 3, 2025, via memorandum No. 41-2025, dated 03/04/2025, that — based on instructions from the U.S. Department of State — it has been decided to change the legal status of the Permanent Delegation and its members from a Permanent Mission of a Member State to the United Nations to a Mission of a Government Not Recognized by the United States.”
The U.S. move signals a significant diplomatic shift and underscores the deepening rift between Washington and the Syrian government, which has faced years of international isolation and sanctions since the onset of the Syrian conflict.

Mother of Abducted Minor Hanan Abdulrahman Abdo Appeals to Mazloum Abdi for Her Daughter's Return
ARK News.. The mother of a 15-year-old girl allegedly abducted by armed members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), has issued a desperate plea to SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi, urging him to intervene and bring her daughter back. In a tearful video message, she warned that she would harm herself if her daughter is not returned.
In the video, the mother stated that her daughter, Hanan Abdulrahman Abdo, a sixth-grade student, was taken from in front of their home in the city of Kobani, in Syrian Kurdistan. “We are originally from Afrin and were displaced to Kobani due to the war. I call on Mazloum Abdi to bring back my daughter. If she does not return, I will set myself on fire,” she said.
The abduction of minors by the Revolutionary Youth Movement, a group affiliated with the SDF, has been documented by ARK News. The outlet reported that more than ten children were kidnapped from various towns and villages across Syrian Kurdistan during the month of March 2025.

Ibrahim Khalil Hamek (15), from the village of Baghdik, east of Kobani.
Ibrahim Mohammed Sino, born 2008, from the village of Kharab Ashk near Kobani; abducted on March 4, 2024, while residing with his family in Raqqa.
Maryana Suleiman, born 2012, abducted in early March 2025 from her home in rural Qamishlo.
Sila Suleiman, born 2012, abducted in early March 2025 from her home in rural Qamishlo.
Roshin Mustafa Mahmoud Ibrahim, abducted two days before her wedding in March 2025 from the village of Koberlek, near Gire Spi.
Khunav Abdullah Sheikho, born 2009, abducted on April 2, 2025, while at school in the Al-Nasra neighborhood of Hasaka, reportedly with the involvement of a school supervisor.
Rehab Youssef Sheikho, 13, the only child of her parents, from Kobani, abducted in March 2025.
Malak Kawa Abdo, born 2010, abducted on Monday, March 24, 2025, while returning from school in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo.
A child from the Hamo family, from the village of Arna near Kobani, abducted on April 2, 2025, aged 13.
Diyala Aliko, born 2010, abducted on April 3, 2025, from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo.
This wave of abductions comes despite a formal agreement signed by SDF Commander Mazloum Abdi with Virginia Gamba, the UN Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, committing to end and prevent the recruitment and use of children under 18 in military operations. Nevertheless, the practice of enlisting minors appears to persist.

International Coalition Deploys Advanced Weaponry in Drills at Kharab al-Jir Base
ARK News.. U.S. forces conducted intensive military exercises at the Kharab al-Jir base, south of Rmelan, simulating scenarios to counter and neutralize hostile drones.
According to local sources, the drills—held on Sunday, April 7, 2025—involved the use of advanced weaponry recently delivered to the base. The exercises aimed to strengthen aerial defense systems and boost readiness in the face of potential threats.
In parallel, the International Coalition carried out similar military drills at the Omar oil field and Conoco base in eastern Deir Ez-zour countryside. The training included live fire exercises using machine guns against mock targets, accompanied by the aerial presence of fighter jets patrolling the region.

Administrative Body of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers’ Union Convenes to Discuss Organizational and Cultural Initiatives
ARK News.. The Administrative Body of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers’ Union has formed a five-member committee to oversee the Union’s annual literary award, granted to a writer in the Kurdish language. During the meeting, members discussed the award’s criteria and evaluation mechanisms.
The Union held its regular session at its office in Qamishlo, where the agenda included the organizational status of its branches within Syria, as well as its representation in the Kurdistan Region and Europe. Attendees reviewed operational procedures and explored avenues to further develop the Union and enhance its cultural influence.
A key point on the agenda was the formation of the five-member committee tasked with supervising the Union’s annual award. Discussions focused on establishing transparent standards and a fair evaluation process to ensure the prize honors literary excellence in Kurdish.
The meeting also addressed ongoing efforts to unify the Syrian Kurdistan Writers’ Union with the General Union of Kurdish Writers and Journalists in Syria. Participants underscored the importance of completing the unification process and agreed to accelerate efforts to overcome existing obstacles.
Additionally, members positively assessed the recent Writers’ Unions Forum, describing it as a constructive step toward fostering cultural cooperation among writers across different regions and promoting institutional collaboration within the broader Kurdish literary and cultural sphere.

Syrian Democratic Forces Abduct Minor “Diyala Aliko” from Sheikh Maqsoud Neighborhood in Aleppo
ARK News.. The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their policy of intimidating children, depriving them of their childhood, and forcing them into conscription camps in the areas under their control. In a recent incident, a Kurdish minor was abducted from the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo.
A confidential source told ARK News that armed members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the SDF, kidnapped the minor Diyala Aliko, born in 2010, on April 3, 2025. She was taken to one of the SDF’s military recruitment camps.
The abducted girl hails from the village of Hesse in the Mabata subdistrict of Afrin.
This incident comes despite a signed action plan between SDF commander Mazloum Abdi and Virginia Gamba, the United Nations Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, aimed at ending and preventing the recruitment and use of children under the age of 18 in military operations.
Nevertheless, the practice of recruiting minors and involving them in armed conflict continues unabated.

المجلس الوطني الكوردي يقيم ندوة سياسية في أوسلو
أقام المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا ندوة سياسية في المركز الثقافي الكوردي بالعاصمة النرويجية أوسلو، تم خلالها مناقشة سياسات المجلس الوطني الكوردي الراهنة، ومستقبل القضية الكوردية في سوريا.
بمشاركة عدد من الأساتذة والمتخصصين في الشأن السياسي الكوردي، " شيركوه عكيد- رنگين محمه – ابراهيم بنار علي- عادل سليمان – عبدالباقي حسيني"، نظم المجلس الوطني الكوردي في سوريا ندوة سياسية في المركز الثقافي الكوردي بالعاصمة النرويجية أوسلو.
خلال الندوة تم مناقشة تركيبة المجلس الوطني الكوردي، وتمثيله في إسكندنافيا عموماً والنرويج بشكل خاص، بالإضافة إلى سياساته الراهنة، وعلاقاته مع أحزاب إدارة PYD، ومستقبل القضية الكوردية في سوريا.
وفي ختام الندوة، أكد المشاركون على أهمية استمرار مثل هذه الفعاليات لتعزيز التواصل بين الجالية الكوردية في المهجر والحركة السياسية الكوردية في الخارج .

عشرات اللاجئين السوريين يصلون إلى روسيا
أعلنت وكالة روسية عن وصول عشرات اللاجئين السوريين إلى روسيا، وأن متطوعين من "الحرس الشاب" ونشطاء من حزب "روسيا المتحدة" كانوا في استقبالهم.
ذكرت وكالة أنباء "نوفوستي" الروسية، يوم الأحد 7 نيسان 2025، أن 50 لاجئاً سورياً وصلوا إلى إقليم "بيرم" الروسي، حيث جرى إعداد مركز إقامة مؤقت لهم.
ومن جانبه قال الفرع الإقليمي لحزب "روسيا الموحدة" عبر قناته على منصة تلغرام: "وصل 50 مواطناً تم إجلاؤهم من سوريا إلى إقليم بيرم"، من دون أن يذكر أسباب إجلائهم والمنطقة السورية التي قدموا منها.
وأوضح المصدر أن متطوعين من "الحرس الشاب" ونشطاء من حزب "روسيا المتحدة" كانوا في استقبال اللاجئين في محطة السكة الحديدية في بيرم، حيث ساعدوهم في نقل أمتعتهم.
مضيفا أنه جرى تجهيز مركز إيواء مؤقت للاجئين وتزويدهم بالطعام والدواء، مشيراً إلى أنه في وقت قريب سيتم تقديم المساعدة للقادمين في العثور على عمل وإرسال أطفالهم إلى المدارس ورياض الأطفال.
ويرجّح أن يكون السوريون الواصلون حديثاً إلى إقليم بيرم، قد جرى إجلاؤهم من قبل الروس من قاعدة حميميم على الساحل السوري، وذلك بعد لجوء الآلاف من قرى وبلدات اللاذقية إلى القاعدة، على خلفية التوترات الأخيرة التي أعقبت هجوم فلول النظام المخلوع في آذار الفائت على قوات الأمن العام والجيش السوري وقتل عدد منهم.

حادث سير يتسبب بوفاة ثلاثة أشخاص بريف مدينة حماة
أفادت مصادر محلية أن سيارة محملة بالبنزين احترقت بريف مدينة حماة الجنوبي، وفقد عدة أشخاص حياتهم جراء الحادثة.
قالت مصادر محلية أن ثلاثة مدنيين فارقوا الحياة، صباح اليوم الإثنين 7 نيسان، إثر احتراق سيارة محمّلة بالبنزين على طريق طلف – جدرين في ريف حماة الجنوبي، جراء حادث مروري.
وبحسب المصادر المحلية، وقع الحادث بعد أن فقد سائق سيارة من نوع "سوزوكي" السيطرة عليها أثناء القيادة، ما أدى إلى انقلابها على جانب الطريق.
وكانت المركبة محمّلة بعدد كبير من غالونات البنزين، ما تسبّب في اندلاع النيران بسرعة كبيرة عقب الانقلاب، وفقاً لما ذكر "المكتب الإعلامي في الحولة".
وأدى الحريق إلى وفاة المدنيين الثلاثة متأثرين بجروحهم، في حين باشرت فرق الدفاع المدني السوري عمليات الإطفاء على الفور، ونقلت الجثث إلى الطبابة الشرعية في مدينة حمص لاستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.

أكثر من نصف سكان سوريا يواجهون انعدام الأمن الغذائي
أكدت الأمم المتحدة أن نصف سكان سوريا يواجهون انعدام الأمن الغذائي، نتيجة للظروف الاقتصادية والمعيشية في البلاد.
قال برنامج الأغذية العالمي التابع للأمم المتحدة في تغريدة على منصة "إكس": "نصف سكان سوريا يواجهون انعدام الأمن الغذائي بسبب النزاع والانهيار الاقتصادي وتصاعد العنف مؤخراً".
وأشار البرنامج إلى أن أكثر من 7 ملايين شخص لا يزالون نازحين داخلياً، كما دُمّرت البنية التحتية والمنازل والخدمات.
وأضافت الأمم المتحدة: "أنها لحظة حاسمة بالنسبة لسوريا، إما الآن أو أبداً".
وقالت منظمة الأغذية والزراعة العالمية "الفاو" في تقرير لها، إن إنتاج الحبوب في العام 2025 انخفض بنحو 13٪ عن العام الماضي، وإن التحديات المتعلقة بالأمن الغذائي في سوريا ستتفاقم اكثر بسبب هشاشة الأوضاع الاقتصادية واستمرار النزاع، وتغيّر المناخ، رغم انخفاض طفيف في أسعار المواد الغذائية.
وأشارت المنظمة إلى أن هذه الأمور تتطلب تدخل واستجابة فورية من المؤسسات الإنسانية والجهات الفاعلة في المجتمع الدولي.
